Go, Ruby, R, Kotlin

As a bonus, I would like to note that along with SQL, on the 7th line of our rating, you can put such languages as: Go, Ruby, R and Kotlin, which are no less popular and in demand, and some continue to actively develop and gain popularity.

Java

Java is a strongly typed object-oriented programming language. Java code is usually translated into special bytecode, and can be executed on any computer architecture using the Java Virtual Machine.

There are a lot of Java application areas: web development, mobile application development, and, of course, desktop application development.

According to the TIOBE index, the Java programming language has been in the lead for quite some time. In other ratings, Java is no less popular, for example, in the IEEE Spectrum and PYPL ratings, Java is in second place.
